Chad Price is the CEO and co-founder of Mako Medical, a fast-growing diagnostic testing and healthcare technology company based in Raleigh, North Carolina. Chad is a visionary leader passionate about entrepreneurship and making a difference in people’s lives.

Chad’s entrepreneurial journey began when he was just 13 years old, selling candy and soda out of his locker to his classmates. He continued to pursue his passion for business throughout college, where he founded and operated several successful companies. After graduating from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Chad started his career in the medical industry as a sales representative for a laboratory testing company.

In 2014, Chad co-founded Mako Medical intending to create a company that would revolutionize the healthcare industry by providing high-quality diagnostic testing services at an affordable price. Under Chad’s leadership, Mako Medical has grown rapidly and now operates in all 50 states, with over 500 employees and a network of over 4,000 healthcare providers.

Chad is deeply committed to giving back to his community and supporting veterans. In 2020, Mako Medical was selected to represent North Carolina in the Hiring Our Heroes Corporate Fellowship Program, which helps transitioning service members and military spouses find meaningful employment in the civilian workforce.

Chad has been recognized for his entrepreneurship and leadership by numerous organizations, including being named to the Triangle Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 list in 2018 and the North Carolina Healthcare Information and Communications Alliance’s (NCHICA) Healthcare Heroes list in 2019.
