NFL Star Ben Roethlisberger: Accomplishments and Contributions

Ben Roethlisberger, an American athletic football celebrity, began his life on March 2, 1989. He has spent his life living in Ohio and representing his home state in various sports. Ben started his career early in high school by participating and becoming team captain in his school’s basketball, baseball, and football teams.

His track record included 54 touchdowns, being named Toledo Blade Player of the Year, and helping his team achieve a 23-9 record. Although Ben Roethlisberger began setting records in high school, he continued the trend into college. He attended Miami University in Oxford Ohio. He attended the university from 2001 to 2003. Ben accomplished 854 completed passes for 10,829 yards with 84 touchdowns during those years.

After college, Roethlisberger was recruited by the Pittsburg Steelers in the first round. He was drafted and made his NFL debut in 2004. He was later named NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year and at age 23, was the youngest quarterback in the NFL to win a Superbowl. The two-time Superbowl champion accomplished 4,616 completed passes for 56,194 yards and 363 touchdown passes while playing for the Steelers. He spent his entire professional football career with the Pittsburg Steelers and made an amazing track record for himself while working with them.

Ben Roethlisberger also has many philanthropic contributions. Primarily, there is the Roethlisberger Family Foundation, which includes recourses for families such as books, courses, and podcasts. Ben has also partnered with Micah Tyler, a Christian American musician, and Light of Life Rescue Mission. Their goal while working together was to provide meals to the homeless community in Pittsburg, Ohio. Ben and his wife Ashley have also worked with NeoLight to help provide free services to families that have babies with jaundice.
