Steve Ziemke began his career in the insurance industry. He started as a sales representative, and thanks to a lot of hard work, Ziemke began to climb the ladder to Vice President. He has spent the second half of his career at Gulf Coast Western. As the sales team leader, Ziemke creates partnerships with clients in the oil and gas industry. These partnerships lead to generating more income and tax advantages. However, Ziemke does more than make phone calls all day.
The company is heavily involved in charity work. One such charity is the Sadie Keller Foundation. One thing the foundation does is provide toys to children with cancer during the holiday season. Ziemke took part in helping to get donations for the toy drive and getting the toys to sick children and their siblings.
Ziemke also takes the time to host and speak at conferences regarding the benefits of investing in the oil and gas industry. One such conference was the New Orleans Investment Conference. Ziemke spoke about projects within the industry that would be beneficial to investors.
Ziemke has been in the industry for a long while, but it does not stop him from working hard. One of his goals for 2023 is to track how he receives referrals and, hopefully, monopolize them. Roughly half of his clients come from referrals. By changing his strategy, he wants to raise that number to two-thirds.
